Product description

This NVIDIA/Mellanox InfiniBand MMS4A00-compatible OSFP transceiver is an 800Gbps single-port OSFP flat-top (OSFP-RHS) DR4 single-mode module with a single MPO-12/APC connector and 200G-PAM4 modulation, supporting link lengths of up to 500 m over single-mode fiber.

The module meets InfiniBand XDR end-to-end system certification and supports deployment with ConnectX-8 OSFP adapters. Paired with a 1:2 breakout cable, it enables a 2×800G breakout mode by activating two optical channels on each branch path, delivering lower power consumption and flexible breakout connectivity. With high-bandwidth transmission and ultra-low BER, it is optimized for supercomputing, AI and HPC environments and is seamlessly compatible with the Blackwell architecture.

Product highlights

  • Integrated low-power DSP for stable performance at scale

Supply & compliance FAQ

How do the proposed FCC rules on optical transceivers affect availability?

The FCC rulemaking reported in August 2026 is still a draft. As reported, it would apply to new model authorizations, while models already deployed and shipping would continue to be supplied. Current PhoScale shipments are unaffected, and we hold inventory in our US warehouse. We track the rulemaking closely and publish updates on our Insights page.

Can you provide compliance documentation for your transceivers?

Yes. Every SKU ships with per-unit test reports, and compliance documentation (FCC, FDA laser, RoHS) is available on request as part of our ongoing compliance program.

How do you protect buyers against supply-chain disruption?

Three ways: US-warehouse stock for immediate needs, multi-source manufacturing across tier-one Asian production partners, and allocation planning for project and annual-supply customers. See our Supply Assurance page for details.

What lead times should we plan for on 800G and 1.6T optics?

In-stock models ship from our US warehouse immediately. For volume orders, typical lead times are 2–6 weeks depending on model and quantity — submit an RFQ for a confirmed date against current allocation.
